New 300 Trailer

Frank Miller's 300

We’ve covered Frank Miller’s ‘300′ on this blog several times over the course of the last few months. I still find it hard to believe within myself, that ‘300′ is one of Frank Miller’s works that I don’t own or have ever read. But even with that in mind, I just know that this is going to be one helluva amazing movie going experience. Dude, it’s Frank Miller! ‘Nuff said!

Ok enough of the fan-boy ramblings - though I do guarantee you will be warbling like a fan-boy when you see the new trailer. Check it out here folks! (Oh, and you gotta love Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Just Like You Imagined’ playing in the background! Well, I sure as hell did!)

Miller’s 300 graphic novel would rank alongside one of the best comics i have ever read.

I just saw that trailer today. I haven’t read the graphic novel, but I’ll try to check it out before it’s release in March. Looks pretty amazing.

I had no idea what this was about when I saw the trailer. I still don’t completely get it but style-wise, it looks like it’s going to blow both Matrix and Lord of the Rings way out of the water. No small feats in that!

It’s based on the Greek legend of the 300 Spartans.

Its not a legend, its a true story, about Xerxes and his persian army, about a million men, going through and conquering Greece’s city-states, but when they arrive to Thermopolae(a small pass in the mountains between Xerxes army and Sparta0, king Lionidas and 300 of his best spartans, hold them off, and would of one if one captured spartan wouldn’t of told xerxes about a secret pass

There were the three hundred spartans but also a number of Helots(slaves) and warriors from Thebes I beleive. Closer to a thousand, but still outnumbered 250 to 1.
