I've been a fan of theirs since 1983 and, in my view, this CD is among their best, an extremely strong comeback that is both classic and modern. Monotheist isn't getting the positive reception it deserves in the greater metal community. One note of disappointment: I'd never seen Celtic Frost live until this 2006 tour. The songs sounded great, but the band's lackluster stage presence and their lack of multimedia use made for a sizeable letdown. I was so happy to see CELTIC FROST’s Monotheist ranked #1 for the year.
