There’s been quite a heated discussion happening over on this post when we revealed some more shots of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the forthcoming ‘The Dark Knight’ movie. I for one think he looks friggn awesome and have high expectations for this movie. In short… can’t wait folks!
I think Heath Ledger is getting his redemption. A lot of people looked down on him because they’re all so homophobic… I personally did not see the “offensive” movie, but I think playing the Joker is probably the best move he could have made to redeem himself in the straight but insecure male audiences’ eyes… if that is really something he wants to do… (I personally don’t think it is that big of a deal what any men think of him, just the one’s that write his paychecks and cast him in new roles)
Missi is right this would be a great way for heath ledger to get his ‘redemption’ although I don’t think he needs to redeem himself because he was in Broke Back Mountain. So he played a gay guy big deal. (I did happen to see most of that movie it was alright but chick flicks just are not my thing.) What he would need to redeem himself for if anything is the list of crap movies hes done in the past.
