Yeah, WTF - who’s ever heard of The Veronicas?
They could benefit from people spreading their stuff.
i couldn’t give a rats arse about people like the veronicas and powderfinger, those guys surely have more money than they know what to do with and their presence in this video is quite ironic. 10 years ago, i paid $25 to see powderfinger supported by something for kate, now it’s almost $70 just to see powderfinger.
the veronicas astound me. it’s so tough having to go to parties and do a few interviews. that’s called having a job.
the dawn collective are actually mates of mine and i can see how hard it is for them. even though they get good exposure like this, all of the members have full time jobs and they don’t really make any money from music. i can only imagine what happens to bands like gyroscope who go on pretty major tours and can’t have day jobs while they’re doing it. at the end of the day, piracy does hurt the music industry, but the real damage is being done by the record labels who cash 99% of the profits.
