Wreckage Of My Past: The Story Of Ozzy Osbourne

‘Wreckage Of My Past’ is a new film documenting the life of music icon Ozzy Osbourne as he approaches his 60th birthday. Newly sober, Ozzy has finally reached a point of clarity as he looks back on a lifetime of unresolved issues, unparalleled success, misdiagnosed diseases, severed ties, and a recurring dependency on drugs and alcohol.

The documentary is being produced by Jack and Sharon Osbourne and promises to be a documentary that’s a no-punches-pulled account of the life of the former Black Sabbath frontman.

  • To be honest it just looks fucking sad. Good old Sharon, squeezing the franchise one more time and who gives a toss of Ozzy comes out looking like a sad, pathetic git.

  • As much as it pains me to say it but what Mick says I think is about right. I am not really interested in this, and if I am honest with myself I am not particularly interested in the forthcoming Lemmy movie either – such projects have an air of the sycophantic about it. I would however be most happy if proved wrong. If you want to hit the likes of Ozzy with a good film bio get an independent film maker with a proven track record. Just my opinion for what it is worth (sweet FA in reality)

  • I was quite interested in this until reading Sharon Osborne was one of the producers. Jack? I kinda get. Kid probably wants to get into film-making, but…

Having said that, I’d still like to see this…

  • Okay….so here’s the thing. There are a million films out there that chronicle the life of rock stars, past and present……so great, some so-so, and some absolutely dreadful. This one looks like it could go either way. You have the benefit of both Sharon and Jack producing, and they have the obvious connection with Ozzy and that could lend itself to some very interesting insight that might not otherwise be attainable by someone not as involved in Ozzy’s personal and professional life. I would still love to see a Biopic done sometime in the future as it may be of more interest to people not so familiar with Ozzy’s work. (how anyone could be unaware of his music is amazing, but I’m sure the younger generation of heavy music fans could stand to see how important he really is..). I guess we’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves when the film is released.

    • I totally agree with you Robert I think the family would be the best and most appropriate people to make this film and there point of view would be most accurate I support this 100 % and i love Ozzy and Sharon very much and there is alot to be learned from them and there lives and there relationship and anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.

  • this looks so sad, he looked like some lonely mental paitent

  • Huge fan all my life. Whatever he sings I listen, whenever he’s on TV I watch, whatever he sells I buy. It takes great humility to bare your soul for everyone to see. I truly admire that. He feels he owes it to us to give us one more show. All I can say is Thank you.Thank you to the Osbournes for given the real ‘devout’ fans what they want. We love you Ozzy

  • I believe (like any other movie out there) some people will really enjoy this film; and some will think it’s just depressing or sad. Ozzy’s life has not been any where near perfect – unlike the plot lines in some films out there where everything seems to always end up where people live happily ever after. This documentry is about a REAL life. One thats lead to a lifetime of music that has been enjoyed by people for decades, and that will continue to be enjoyed even after Ozzy has had his time. The Osbournes didn’t portray Ozzy for being the man he really is. Unfortunately, for entertainment purposes, parts of his day to day life seemed to be exploited or sometimes even taken out of context; whereas this movie will show Ozzy for being Ozzy – his family’s perspective, his friend’s perspectives, even the people he has worked with throughout the years will have their say about the times they shared with the man himself. Either way this movie is going to be very raw, honest, and open; and I’m very much looking forward to seeing it.
