KISS. 1976. Their first European tour. Small venues. Rabid crowds. A hungry, hungry band. A lean, mean fighting machine…
May 5, 1976 – Mannheim, Germany.

Diving Headfirst Into The Underbelly Of The Pop Counterculture!
sweet pics!
Amazing yet again!
Good stuff!!!
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome shots! Keep digging up these treasures to remind everyone of the “good days”.
This is Kiss. Period. End of sentence.
There is no era like this era of Kiss. Whether they were playing abroad or in NYC, during the 1970′s – perhaps the most important decade socially, politically, creatively – Kiss was a part of something very, very cool in and unto itself.
There is much more to these photos than meets the eye…
BEAUTIFUL. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.
Special mention for the Peter shots.
Nothing special. Today’s lineup with Tommy Thayer blows this shit away.
You’re fucking smoking crack asswipe!
I have nothing against todays lineup but you did not just say that!? Did you? Really?
Gary,
You must be joking. Take a second listen to Alive 1 Jacka$$!
No offense to Tommy Thayer but he’s NO Ace Frehley!
R. Kelly
pretty amazing photo’s,before all the greed took over with mr simmons, great to see the freshness of the original four on stage….classic, pity those days are gone.
The Originals!
Que fotos más buenas.
Grande KISS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
You take these JR?
Nah mate. I woulda been about 8 at the time!
Wow. Tommy and Eric look so young back then!
Nothing can beat the real shit! I don´t like the lame TT-Repro-ACE and Eric as catman.
Hey, they’re cool yet. I’ve been fan since I was 5, I’m 34 and still like them. Even with all that merchandising involved, they are magical.
Greetings from México!!
AWESOME PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings from Brazil!
WOW, fuckin amazing ! That is Kiss at their best.
Wow – my heroes in Mannheim 1976 for 16 (SIXTEEN!!) Deutschmarks – amazing!
Today you have to pay + – €70, that means + -140 Deutschmarks. Thanx to inflation…
But let’s be honest – today you also get another show for your eyes and ears!
Unfortunately I was allowed to go to my first KISS-show not before the age of 14, back in 1983.
Would have been great to join Paul, Gene, Ace & Peter so very, very close in a small venue.
Oh my god – time flies! We were all so young these days back in 1976…;-)
Hope KISS will come to Mannheim again 2010 – would be 10km from my home!!!
World – keep your fingers crossed!!:-)
Gene’s codpiece has grown immensely over the years. Currently he could
easily stuff 4 or 5 of Paul’s wigs and a litre of Dr. Pepper into it with room
to spare.
Simply amazing… You do realize you’re going to have to keep feeding our appetite for more rare KISS don’t you? Keep ‘em coming. We love it all!
Que grosso! Que zarpado! La gente agitandola! Personas colgadas de todos lados (ultima foto)!
Pura fiesta y descontrol con KISS en una de sus mejores formas!
Gracias por estas fotos!
Y gracias a KISSFEVER!
I’m desperate for more already. Please keep it comin!
Great great pics awesome !!! bravo
Simply cool!!!!
it’s good to see images finally appearing for the fans of the good ole days. sad thing is ‘asshole’ on the bass is such a greedy creep it’s been really rare seeing the uncirculated images i hope continue to surface… lord knows he has enough of mine to put out a book just with the material he took from me. so as we move along and kiss slowly loses it’s respect with the die-hards like myself at least we can rest in the idea that the future will hold many unseen images coming forth for the public to enjoy with out his cash grubbing hands having anything to do with them. would be nice to see vintage images that mr. money bags doesn’t get to make money off of… besides he owes it to kiss fans anyway. all the money we’ve spent on stupid fan club kits and merchandise he should open the floodgates and let all the killer images flow like wine… ok, so i’m just thinking to myself he might have a bit of clarirty. my bad. anyways, it’s good to see history revisited with new “vintage” images from when kiss was kool! i appreciate this and hope you other die hards do as well. we get to look forward to all the images that will slowly surface… and as long as he doesn’t make one red cent i’m pretty happy about it too. cheers!
