Gothamist is claiming that this new humorous mural on the corner of Grand and Wooster in downtown Manhattan is courtesy of infamous street artist Banksy and executed by the painters at Colossal Media, the same company responsible for all those hand painted billboards in Soho for H&M, among others.

I finally caught the Grindhouse double-feature at the Astor last night and you know what, I was sure as hell glad that I did! Seeing this classic double-feature at a theatre such as the Astor, was pure magic!
Both the Tarantino and Rodriguez films copped some flak on their initial release. Even tho I enjoyed both films (Rodriguez’s more-so than Tarantino’s) on their DVD release, seeing them on the big screen with a full-house, energetic and responsive Astor audience was pure magic! It was an enthralling night’s entertainment and hearing the crowd react and squirm and laugh and boo and cheer and practically roll with the punches and mayhem on screen - just made it all the more fun!
The Astor itself is such a classic theatre that it seemed tailor made to host this Grindhouse double-bill. I guess that is why the Grindhouse nights are so damn popular as the theatre has been featuring them several times a month for the past year or so.
Seriously, I know you’ve all seen the films. I know you’ve all got the DVD’s. But please, go to the Astor and don’t see these films… EXPERIENCE them! Allright?

The latest Agent Provocateur campaign has arrived and typically it’s as provocative as ever. Past stars of their campaigns have included Kate Moss and former Blackbook cover girl Maggie Gyllenhaal. But the label’s latest just might take the cake for both vampiest and most likely to seduce. The series, entitled ‘Tableaux Vivants’, looks a bit like Caravaggio meets campy B-horror flick at a high-fashion orgy. And not only that. The campaign stars up-and-coming it-girls/rock scions Peaches Geldof and Daisy Lowe. If the lace, latex thigh-highs, and whips don’t get you drooling, you may be already dry.
Named after George A. Romero’s film Season of the Witch. The film, made in 1971, tells of the misadventures of a housewife who breaks the monotony of her life by entering the world of witchcraft. (as you do!) Agent Provocateur have focused on the erotic side of the film.
The media attention it’s attracting, along with the amazing photos, guarantees new success for Agent Provocateur, who remain true to their principles submerging us in an erotic vampire world.

The Internet community has been buzzing ever since Brad Pitt signed on to headline Quentin Tarantino’s next feature film, Inglorious Bastards. With each casting announcement since it was just a matter of time before we get a glimpse at some teaser poster art. Now the question is, is it legit?
To go with the poster art, it has been confirmed that Robert Richardson, who worked as the Director of Photography on the Kill Bill features, as well as Casino and The Aviator, will be the DP for Inglorious Bastards.

You may have noticed the site was down for most of today. I was getting the error:

Currently we are running Wordpress 2.6.2 (the latest version) and the latest build of the K2 theme.
Switching off wp-cache, solves the problem as obviously, you are reading this now.
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and/or can offer a solution. I’d like to have the wp-cache plugin working as it speeds things up considerably.
