    I love the few people with the PC’s are sitting there thinking “I wish I had a Mac” I’m a Mac IT person at a college and I can attest to the fact that the Mac has taken over in a big way. 2 years ago I would see the odd Mac around campus but now I see the odd PC and the rest are Macs. I have students in my area all the time from other courses coming in to see the new iMac’s or the MacBook Pros saying they’re buying one. Apple has definitely done something right lately.

    I run the ‘Graphics’ department at my work and my environment is totally Mac driven. The rest of the company are all PC. But an interesting thing is happening - 3 of my fellow employees - all diehard Windows users: have now switched to the Mac. They rock up to work with Macbooks in tow and it is so refreshing seeing them all finally see the light!

    Haha, that’s excellent.

    I’ve noticed that the various conferences I attend are pretty much all Mac now. Which I suppose is to be expected from “advanced users” since it is a superior platform. :)

    hahaha, that’s funny.
    i can see macs being quite useful for a lot of areas of work, i know that all the high energy physics people i know in melbourne use macs. i think it’s probably because it’s based on linux and us science nerds love a bit of linux.
