It’s been an eventful week… to say the least. I’ve been working for an ‘established’ Web company for the past month and I’ve never encountered a more mismanaged abomination of an organization like this in my entire life. The entire experience left me feeling disillusioned and pretty much alienated to ever working for a firm again. Maybe because I have been working either for my own company (2003-2006) and then freelancing that I’m just not suited to be working under anyone again. I don’t have any problem whatsoever working under someone, but when that one someone is a clueless, arrogant and inept fuck… its time to rethink strategies and bail out before it is too late. I don’t know, but I can’t really be blaming myself because if I divulged some of the ineptitude I went through over the past month… many would wonder how I even lasted that long. Nevermind. You live and (hopefully) you learn. I’m now back to working freelance and I have enough to keep me busy at least for the next couple of months. And you know what, I prefer it this way.
Having said that, last night Sam and I went for our usual trawl through the underbelly of Melbourne’s street-art scene. The shot above features Sam as we checked out Centre Place in Melbourne - which is one of our fave street-art locales in this fine city. The light was just gorgeous last night and I managed to snap this atmospheric shot of her walking towards me.
Tomorrow is another day.

Shame about the job mate but you’ll kick ass (as usual) in the freelancing department! And welcome back to freeeeeeeeeeedooommmm!
Seem to be making a (nasty) habit of quitting gigs of late… but these guys… took the cake! I tried to make it work - really tried, but the stress levels were something that I did not deserve. I wish I could go into details, but I’ll leave it be.
